A James McKissack design, the Vogue opened in January 1936, and seated 1,750. Sold with many other Singleton cinemas to Odeon in 1936, it remained a cinema until 1974, then went over to for bingo. Bingo opened on March 21st 1975 by star of TV's The Golden Shot, Anne Aston.

After closing during the Covid pandemic in 2020, it was announced by Mecca later that year that the closure was to be permanent.

It lay derelict until October 2025, when it was re-opened as the Beijing Banquet Buffet restaurant.
