Opened 1911, single floor, around 800 seats. Later renamed Gaumont and then Scala, closing 1957.

Now a furniture shop.

Blossom Street

Opened 1937 with 1484 seats. Tripled to form 820, 111, and 111 seat

auditoria. The two smaller screens are in the rear stalls, and the

larger

screen is the balcony, extended forwards down into the front stalls,

Closed Thursday 31st August, 2006.

stripped prior to demolition, as the bingo has moved to a new hall

built next door.
